Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh projected Lebanon's GDP growth at only 2 percent in 2005, and that inflation would stand at 4 percent. Speaking at the opening of the Arab Economic Forum at Beirut's Phoenicia Inter-Continental Hotel, Salameh told more than 800 Arab businessmen and bankers that bank deposits.
