The sales of Danish food products dropped by 37 percent in the past week in Lebanon, mostly in Muslim areas, according to Jacque Kallassi of Arla Foods, a major importer of Danish goods. The drop in sales reflected a broader trend in countries with large Muslim populations, where consumers are protesting the publication.
