Lately it seems there are more cranes than buildings rising from Beirut's skyline, and Gulf investors continue to funnel oil revenues into mega-construction projects in the Beirut Central District (BCD). So far the majority of investment has been concentrated on high-end tourist, residential, and office spaces with price tags.
