Hotel occupancy rates in Beirut on steady recovery

The benchmark survey of the Middle East hotel sector by Ernst & Young indicated that occupancy rate at hotels in Beirut was 40 percent in the first half of 2008, up 4 percent from 36 percent in the same period last year. The occupancy rate in Beirut was the lowest among 22 markets in the region.
