Lebanon cracks down on jammers, repeaters

Technical staff from the Telecommunication Ministry backed by security forces on Friday started seizing jammers and repeaters in Beirut in an attempt to improve the reception of the cellular phones. A statement by the ministry said that six jammers and repeaters were confiscated near the airport road, Sin al-Fil and Beirut Central District.
