"Transforming dust into golden flakes" is the artist's task, according to Jean Genet. This phrase is found in one of the French novelist and playwright's most famous texts, "Le Funambule" ("The Tightrope Walker"). A theatrical adaptation of Genet's text was performed at Beirut's Babel Theater Thursday evening.
