Electricity is in the air. Beirut is a sea of excitement, and activity and turmoil. The word "revolution" is on many lips. It began on Sunday night with thousands of people, mainly young people, heading to downtown Beirut to begin a vigil leading up to Monday's mass demonstration that was due to begin at 10 a.m. but yet was officially banned by the government.
