Much has been made in the media about the launch of "Operation Together Forward," a joint Iraqi-US crackdown on insurgents following the death of Al-Qaeda leader in Iraq Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. The operation was launched shortly after a well-publicized visit to Iraq by US President George W. Bush, who painted an optimistic view of Iraq's future, saying that while the violence is not yet over.
