The Daily Star sat down for an interview this week with the United States' ambassador to Lebanon, Michele Sison, formerly the US ambassador to the United Arab Emirates. Sison, originally from Virginia, is a career diplomat. She voiced, at length, the United States' support for Lebanon, its democratic process and President Michel Sleiman.
