Sudan's Bashir scraps plans to attend OIC summit in Istanbul

Sudan's indicted President Omar al-Bashir will not attend an Islamic summit in Istanbul as planned, Turkish government officials said Sunday, after the European Union raised objections to his visit. Suspicions that he would not attend were confirmed by Su dan's SUNA news agency. Bashir, a participant in the China-Africa summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
