Gunmen ambushed two senior diplomats from Muslim countries in apparent kidnap bids after the weekend abduction of Egypt's top envoy. The attacks appear aimed at isolating Iraq in the Muslim world - even as the government makes progress in overtures to its disaffected Sunni Arab minority.
