Dozens killed in Sudanese rebel attack in Chad

Almost 50 people have been killed in a village in eastern Chad during an attack by an armed group from neighboring Sudan and subsequent clashes with Chadian forces, a spokesman for the Chadian government said yesterday. The attack took place in the eastern Wadai region on Monday morning, Hurmaji Moussa Dumgor said in a statement.
