The European Union joined the U.S. House of Representatives on Sunday in threatening to curb aid to the Palestinian Authority if Hamas wins next month's parliamentary election. The warning by EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana came as Fatah reached a deal to reunite its ranks on the second day of discussions between senior party officials and uprising leader Marwan Barghouti.
