Iraq said Wednesday it would seek to extradite or at least "silence" Saddam Hussein's wife and eldest daughter while hinting at a possible compromise with some 20 rebel groups showing a readiness to disarm. Across the country, at least 23 people were killed in continuing violence, including a car bomb that exploded not far from a Sunni mosque in northwestern Baghdad, killing six and wounding 14.
