Solid majority of Americans wants US Congress to impose troop deadline

A solid majority of Americans say they want their congressional representative to support a bill calling for a withdrawal of US forces from Iraq by August 2008, a survey showed this week. The poll conducted by the US Pew Research Center for the People & the Press, showed that 59 percent say they would like to see their representative vote.
