Deal to free medics, treat children in Libyan AIDS case may be near

The European Union and families of children who contracted AIDS are close to clinching a deal that would allow Bulgarian nurses held in Libya to escape the death penalty, Libyan sources said. Under the deal, the children would receive top-quality medical care at international institutions for as long as they live while their families.
