Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said on Sunday a much-anticipated summit to try to end political deadlock among the country's leaders could begin in the next two days after another violent weekend across the country. "I have invited major political leaders to a meeting to discuss substantial matters," said Maliki in a televised speech.
