Algeria to pay off Swiss debt early

Algeria signed an accord Saturday for the early repayment of its $66-million debt to Switzerland as part of an ongoing process of reimbursing members of the international Paris Club of creditor countries, an official said. The agreement to repay the debt by August 31 was signed by Algerian Finance Minister Mourad Medelci.
