At least one Egyptian film has been pulled from the Toronto Film Festival's lineup because of the controversy over the festival's decision to initiate its new "City to City" program with a 10-film series on Tel Aviv. First-time feature director Ahmad Abdall withdrew his film "Heliopolis" from the schedule to protest the spotlight on Tel Aviv.
