The spate of spring fashion shows that took place in Beirut this month involved a glut of local designers and a great deal of glitz and glam. But one name that was conspicuously absent from the agenda was Assyla, a collection designed by Al-Hares Haidar and Najwa Rifai Sinno, who work out of a chic boutique in Beirut's Saifi Village.
