Reports of US Marines massacring Iraqi civilians in the town of Haditha have highlighted the importance of combating Islamophobia in the West - the fear or hatred of Islam and of Muslims - to better ensure the success of the US-led war against terrorism. The Haditha massacre comes at a time when after years of intimidation.
