Electoral alliances signed by political forces in some parts of the country and the creation of unified electoral lists represent nothing more than temporary alliances for electoral purposes.
Such coalitions are unlikely to develop into political alliances after the parliamentary elections, and the post election period will witness a significant modification.

Hizbullah denies seeking stronger position in South

Hizbullah denied reports it was seeking to strengthen its presence along the border with Israel, saying the resistance group's presence was always dependent on Israel's actions.

Palestinian FM plans Beirut visit after elections

Palestinian Foreign Minister Nasser Qadwa will visit Beirut after parliamentary elections are held here to discuss  Palestinians' civil rights, and their possession of weapons.
