Council in Dubai and the Northern Emirates
hi guys

The office will represent the interests of the Council in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

The non-profit making organisation, which was established in 1997, is designed to facilitate - and increase - business between Dubai and Lebanon through trade visits.

The offices were inaugurated in the presence of His Excellency Ahmed Al Banna, deputy director general of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, and Dona Turk, the Consul General of Lebanon and honorary chairman of the council.

Dr Adnan Kaddaha, president of the Lebanese Business Council, said: "The organisation provides a platform for the Lebanese business community to interact and strengthen business relations.

"In particular, we see the group as playing a constructive role in developing economic, social and cultural relations between the UAE and Lebanon."

The 165-strong group turned out in force to witness the latest move in the Council's development, with the committee expecting to double membership by the end of the year.
