I suppose, then, that it's quite fitting that my first glimpse of the Jaguar XE, whose entire chassis and quite a bit of the exterior is made of aluminum, came when the car literally descended from the heavens during its launch in Beirut a number of months ago, albeit on steel cables.Naturally, that required actually driving the car, but the agent for Jaguar was ready to accommodate me, kindly providing me with a brand new XE Prestige so I could discover all that this car had to offer. This compact luxury sedan may be Jaguar's entry-level model, but there's absolutely nothing entry level about this car, from the flawless design of the sheet metal, to the kinked roofline, the pronounced Jaguar nose with Bi-Xenon headlights, all the way to the short tail that's remarkably reminiscent of the absolutely gorgeous F-Type.As sublime and extraordinary as the car looks, believe it or not that's nothing compared to how it handles.Driving this car is pure bliss, that's how solid it feels.Set in drive, the car moves effortlessly under normal condition.
