The first ever edition of "Flashback," a summer exhibition of Lebanese designers and concept stores, is being held in Broummana over the weekend.Organizers hope that the four-day event, which kicked off Thursday at Printania Palace Hotel, will encourage an upsurge in visitors to Broummana.Souk El Akel, a street food market presented by Anthony Rahayel of the NoGarlicNoOnions food blog, is leaving Downtown Beirut and taking over Broummana during the 'Flashback' exhibition.Cocoa and Co. bakery's owner Hala Audi Beydoun reminisced about the simple days of the 1980s and '90s in Broummana.Others were drawn by the designers and products featured at the exhibition."Flashback" runs in Broummana through Aug. 2 .
