The 2015 Lebanon Water Festival kicked off its activities with an international jet ski race held in Jounieh over the weekend.The intense heat did not discourage jet ski lovers from gathering in a friendly and festive atmosphere at the Four Stars Resort in Ghazir. Seventeen Lebanese jet ski racers, including two women, competed in the race, which launched the fourth edition of the Lebanon Water Festival (#lebWF). Toni Angelil, winner of the 2012 and 2014 Lebanon Water Festival jet ski competitions, came in first with a time of 2:01:17 .Between July 28 and Aug. 7 a surfing competition will take place in Jiiyeh while on Aug. 9 a stand-up paddleboarding contest will take place in Ramlet al-Baida.
