This weekend saw the Lebanon Water Festival successfully hold its Apnea Constant Weight competition.The competition was an impressive result for Lebanese talent, with some eye watering depths being reached by the divers. In the 31-meter to 40-meter category, first place was won by Bilal Ramadan 40/42 meters in 2:06 minutes. In second position was Hussein Rmeiti, who swam to 36 meters in 1:32 minutes. In the 21-meter to 30-meter category, first place was won by Hussein Madi with 30.8 meters in 1:12 minutes. The judges were impressed with the overall standard of the event, which was careful to adhere to international standards, both in sport and safety terms. These outcomes are a step forward for the Lebanon Water Festival's hopes to promote and develop a world class water sports infrastructure in Lebanon.The Lebanon Water Festival partnered with scuba diving club Narcosis Diving Facilities, which provided boats, support divers and coordination support.
