General Security outlines complaints procedures

BEIRUT: The General Directorate of General Security is encouraging Lebanese, Arab nationals and foreigners to address any complaints to the institution for follow-up. In a statement issued Thursday, General Security said those with complaints could visit the directorate’s headquarters and head to the Complaints Department in the director general’s office, building three, eighth floor. People with complaints may also dial the following phone numbers: 01-389116, 01-389117, use fax number: 01-388555, or visit the directorate’s website: www.general-security.gov.lb. An individual wishing to submit complaints should also do so by placing a written complaint with his or her signature in a sealed envelope that contains a copy of the receipt received from the complaints department, located in central building two, near the Justice Palace.
