Interior Minister Nouhad Machnouk rejected a joint statement classifying Hezbollah as a terrorist organization at an Arab summit in Tunisia Wednesday, only weeks after his party slammed Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil for a similar move at a Cairo meeting.A post on Machnouk's Twitter account said he objected to the statement issued at the 33rd Arab interior ministers summit in Tunis over the description of Hezbollah, which is a member of the Lebanese government. The Future Movement, to which Machnouk belongs, harshly criticized Bassil for abstaining from voting on a statement issued at an Arab foreign ministers summit in January over the classification of Hezbollah as a terrorist group.Education Minister Elias Bou Saab, a member of Bassil's FPM, said he would quiz Machnouk over his decision.
