Gen. Hussein Abdullah adjourned the trial of radical Islamist Sheikh Ahmad al-Assir Tuesday after a detainee involved in the case missed the sessions due to alleged health conditions.Before the session was adjourned, Assir told the court that he did not acknowledge the military lawyer acting as his representative. However, Sablouh and Nehmeh made a brief appearance at Tuesday's session to inform the court that they had presented a request to the Civil Court of Appeals demanding that Judge Mohammad Derbas of the Military Tribunal be removed.
