The American University of Beirut was embroiled in another scandal Monday, a week after a professor was accused of making inflammatory comments to a student wearing a hijab. In a statement posted to Facebook early Monday, the editorial team of the newspaper, headed by editor-in-chief and AUB student Juliette Jabra, said they had been informed by university management Friday that they would not publish this week's issue and were given no opportunity to negotiate. The post added that "the Outlook board have been accused of being hostile towards the administration; however, Outlook is comprised of different student voices and reflects a variety of student attitudes towards AUB.A source at the university told The Daily Star Monday that the next issue of the paper would be printed but it was now too late to print this week's edition.
