HASHISH IN TRIPOLILebanese Customs stopped a boat at the Port of Tripoli that was carrying almost a ton of hash, a statement from the Directorate-General of Customs said Thursday evening.A Turkish man was attempting to smuggle hash to Italy via the port aboard a ship with a Georgian license, the statement said.The Turkish man, who was not further identified, was arrested and referred, along with the hashish, to the Internal Security Forces' Anti-Drug Bureau.An ISF statement said Lebanese citizens F.Sh., born in 1979; H.Kh., born in 1980; and Aa.S., born in 1977 were arrested after the ISF's Information Branch was informed that the suspects had stolen a car belonging to Syrian M.H. in the Nabatieh town of Choukine.
