Progressive Socialist Party leader Walid Joumblatt has said that the solution to the most recent issue holding up the government formation – the representation of Sunni MPs outside the Future Movement – lies with Hezbollah. In an interview published Friday with local daily Al-Joumhouria, Joumblatt called on the party to consider the severity of the political situation and give up its demand for one of the Sunni MPs to be named a minister. The latest obstacle is the representation of Sunni MPs from outside Hariri's Future Movement.
