Lebanese drivers looking to get a "unique" license plate number will be able to pay the government directly, Interior Minister Raya El Hassan has announced.A list shared with The Daily Star by an employee who sells license plate numbers near Vehicle Registration Department has numbers ranging from three to seven digits.Traditionally, three-digit numbers could only be issued by a minister.In addition to Hassan's announcement, new fees will be enforced on owner's of unique license plate numbers.
