A "protest bus" set off from Akkar in north Lebanon early Saturday morning, on a mission to drive south through the main sites of the nearly month-long mass demonstrations.
The bus, covered in photographs of memorable moments of the last 31 days of protests, arrived in the northern capital of Tripoli around 9 a.m. On its way to the city of Tyre in the south, the bus will stop at Batroun, Jbeil, Zouk Mosbeh, Jal al-Dib, Ashrafieh, the "Ring Bridge," Martyrs' Square, Naameh, Barja, Sidon, Kfar Roummane and Nabatieh, accompanied by a convoy of cars.
