EU snubs Britain's post-Brexit trade demands, offers banks no special deal

European Union President Donald Tusk speaks during a press conference in Senningen on March 7, 2018 during which he laid out draft guidelines for negotiations on post-Brexit ties. Tusk said EU does not want to "build a wall" with Britain as it leaves the bloc. "On the contrary the UK will be our closest neighbour and we want to remain friends and partners," Tusk told the press conference. (AFP / EMMANUEL DUNAND)
