The head coach of Lebanon's national team Veselin Matic is hoping to naturalize a big man of the same level as Iran's Hamed Haddadi, Philippines' Andray Blatche and China's Yi Jian Lian. One of the positives for the national team last week was the form of 35-year-old talisman Fadi El Khatib, who averaged almost 30 points per game.Khatib was not the only player with whom Matic was impressed. The 57-year-old Serbian coach spoke confidently about the new faces introduced to the national team such as Wael Arakji and Amir Saoud. Both players made their international debuts recently and had a solid impact on the side. While Arakji was the backup point guard for veteran Ali Mahmoud, Saoud was a vital offensive weapon for Matic.
